Control Crickets With Help From Suburban Exterminating

For foodies and fitness buffs across the globe, crickets may be the new protein.  To us they are annoying pests that may also cause damage if left to wander in homes and businesses.  Some crickets are also important agricultural pests.  Crickets can also be a nuisance with their persistent chirping.  They do so to alert to danger, to attract a female or because they are going up against another male.

Crickets generally live outside in areas where there is a high moisture content.  Unfortunately when the weather doesn’t suit their needs (too cold, too hot or too dry), they move indoors. Where you find crickets depends on the type.  In New York, it is common to find crickets in cool, damp places like basements.
