Butterfly exhibit

Looking for a fun event for your children this summer?  Join Suburban Exterminating at their children’s library program, Future Scientists: Learn What It Takes to Become an Entomologist. The program encourages children to become backyard explorers who go out and find, identify, and study a virtual circus of bugs that reside just outside their door. Children can look forward to meeting Madagascar hissing roaches, a tarantula, scorpion and other insects. Suburban Exterminating looks forward to meeting the children, their parents and the librarians! The free library program runs for 45 minutes to an hour for Grades 3 – 5. Come and join the buggy fun!Since 2011, our free library show has visited libraries in both Nassau and Suffolk counties. Suburban Exterminating includes this children’s show as a way to give back to our community. Other ways that Suburban Exterminating gives back includes Suburban Cares programs: sponsoring highway signs which help to keep Long Island roads clean, cancer awareness programs, food and book drives. Suburban Exterminating is also the proud sponsor of the Bugs Exhibit at the Long Island Aquarium. The insect world is full of science, wonders, and fun. If the fascinating world of insects interests your child, they’ll love this library event.
