LEED Green Associate

LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a program by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The USGBC’s LEED program certifies “Green Buildings”  for homes and businesses.  Criteria includes a building’s materials, energy consumption, daily operations and maintenance.

LEED Green Associate

Suburban Exterminating, as a LEED Green Associate,  plans a pest control program to protect the people who live and work there while offering a lower environmental impact.  The pest control program incorporates Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices with routine inspections and evaluations.  Compliance includes on-going record keeping.

As USGBC members, Suburban Exterminating is kept up-to-date on green technology for a changing environment.  The Green associate certification clearly shows an understanding of green principles and science in environmental care and energy usage. The Green Associate certificate is awarded only after strenuous course work and in depth testing.
