By this time of the year, most of us are anxiously awaiting the arrival of warmer weather. Although their survival may have been in jeopardy during intense cold weather, an out-of-season warming trend is a bug’s signal to begin repopulating. Mild weather, especially if it is also damp, creates the ideal conditions for mosquitoes and cockroaches to thrive. In those situations, speed-dating begins in full-force, causing the insects around your house to rapidly increase. The bugs that had been underground, or burrowed into the bark of a tree, need somewhere to live and something to eat. Your home is the immediate target.
