Helping Out with Thanksgiving Food Drive

Suburban Exterminating is proud to announce that our annual Food Drive this Thanksgiving for Long Island Cares \ Harry Chapin Food Bank.  From November 12th through November 20th, 2012, Suburban will be collecting nonperishable packaged food and canned goods.

Long Island Cares / Harry Chapin Food Bank

Over 300,000 people are hungry on Long Island every day! The Harry Chapin Food Bank feeds  hungry Long Islanders by providing emergency food. Long Island Cares is a critical link in getting food to over 550 community based agencies in Nassau and Suffolk Counties including: food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, day care centers, homeless shelters, and veteran’s services. In the spirit of this Thanksgiving season, Suburban Exterminating asks its employees, customers and neighbors to donate canned and nonperishable foods and goods.  Some suggestions include canned meats, fish, fruits and soups.  Cereal, juice, peanut butter and jelly are also great items to donate.   Please NO GLASS containers.

Pest Control Technicians Contribute

If Suburban Exterminating is scheduled to come to your home November 12th to November 16th, our technicians will be happy to pick up your food donation. Just leave your donation bag on your front steps so that our technician can easily spot your donation.
