Green Methods of Pest Control
Not all insects and other living organisms require control. Many organisms are harmless, and some are even beneficial.
Technicians at Suburban Exterminating are here reviewing how to identify pests accurately, so that appropriate control decisions can be presented to a homeowner.
Green Pest Control
Suburban Exterminating was host at the “Pest Management Professionals Training” at Knights of Columbus in Ronkonkoma on October 30, 2013. The training meeting featured industry leaders, Dr. Frishman and Dr. Corrigan. Attendees included local members of the Nassau County Health Department, Suffolk County Health department, NY Department of Conservation and Cornell University Cooperative Extension personnel.
“We are always looking out for fellow Long Islanders. When we share pest control information, everyone benefits,” said Lynn Frank, entomologist and Technical Director at Suburban Exterminating. “As insects adapt to new environments, we must adapt to new pest control methods, too.”
Speaker, Dr. Austin Frishman, shared his knowledge of insect control and management. Dr. Frishman is a Pest Control Magazine Hall of Fame inductee. Speaker, Dr. Robert Corrigan, presented the latest news on rodent control and green exterminating methods. Dr. Corrigan gives advice to many health departments including New York City Department of Health.
