Congratulations to our Newest Entomologist

Richard Sparling, Field Manager at Suburban Exterminating, successfully earned the Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE) certification from the Entomological Society of America (ESA).

Our Newest Entomologist

The ESA is the largest organization in the world serving the professional and technical needs of entomologists and people in the Pest Control industry. The ACE certification was launched in 2004 and is designed to benefit practicing Pest Management Professionals. To become an Associate Certified Entomologist, a qualified individual must have a solid understanding of the practical aspects of applied entomology. In other words, an Associate Certified Entomologist knows how to inspect and identify common household pests; knows how to monitor a home or business for pest activity; can select and implement pest control methods; and evaluate a pest control situation to make recommendations.

Sparling joins fellow Suburban Exterminating ACEs, Robert Wiemer and William Somerville, and BCE  (Board Certified Entomologist) , Lynn Frank.

Sparling has over 10 years experience in pest control.  He started working at Suburban Exterminating in 2007 as supervisor. In 2014, he assumed the duties of Field Manager. Sparling has exceptional leadership and mentoring skills as well as extensive knowledge of the pest management industry. The Suburban Exterminating family is happy that Rich is a part of the team.

Congratulations, Rich =)
